Journey Back to Soul - Week 6
Journey Through the Unknown & Living a Life You're Proud Of
It's Week 6!!! You did it!! I have loved being on this journey with you and I hope you have loved your Journey Back to Soul. This week we are going to journey through fears of the unknown and I am going to show you how to overcome fear and live your life in a way that makes you proud to be exactly who you are.
So if you're ready, get your notebook and pen and let's get started.

Life is full of twists and turns. Sometimes we can see them coming, sometimes we can't. And it's ok. The most important thing is to know that whatever life throws at you, you are going to handle it in a way that makes you proud of who you are.
Pride can have a negative connotation because it an be used to describe someone that is being arrogant or lacking humility. But there is an extremly positive aspect to pride. When we are proud of our kids accomplishments, or when we handle a hard situation in life while still honoring our values and showing up strong for ourselves and the people around us, it's a really good feeling and a really good thing. When you have to do something and you are scared to do it, I want you to ask yourself how can I do this in a way that makes me proud to be who I am? How can I show up in a way I can be proud of, even if its hard and scary?
Step 1 - Pride is the antedote to shame. If we don't handle something well, we feel embarrassed and ashamed and it feels terrible right? So I want you to make a list of 5-10 things you are scared of about the future or situations that give you anxiety.
Step 2 - Now go through each item and ask, how can I handle this in a way that would make me proud of myslef? That would make me happy to be who I am? If you get stuck, I want you to think of times you have been proud of yourself for something you did well. Look over your week 3 journey and think about the people that inspire you and why.
Step 3 - Write down 3 people or characters whose courage has inspired you. Replay in your mind their most empowering and insipiring moments. Let that feeling of courage grow inside of you for a few minutes.
Step 4 - Now look at your list again. Can you see yourself handling these scenarios with courage in a way that makes you proud. Visualize yourself handling each situation well. Is there anything else you want to write down? How can you handle them with courage? How can you handle them in a way that makes you happy? How can you handle them in a way that makes you proud of who you are?
All of us deal with unknowns, but if you take just a little time like we have just now, to pre-meditate and pre-determine ways you can show up in your life with courage, in a way that makes you love being who you are and proud to be the kind of person you are, then the future, whatever it holds, will be joyful. Pride and joy go together for a reason. Even if you go through something hard, if you are proud of how you show up and handle it, you will still feel good about it. If I could make one wish for everyone that takes this course, it would be that you remember to ask yourself, how can I do this in a way that makes me proud? That's it. Because it invites your best self/soul to show up and guide you through it in the best way possible. And when you're 100 years old, and you look back, you will be able to honestly say you lived a life you are proud of. It wasn't perfect, it might have gotten pretty messy here and there, but you love the kind of person you became through it all and you can be proud of how you did all of it.
Great Job! I'll see you on Saturday for our last group coaching call. I can't wait to hear your thoughts about this soul journey.
